Scheduler is a resource for Harvard teaching hospitals to schedule and track patients for clinical trials. Working closely with the development team, we crafted functionality that worked seamlessly and I kept the colors and interface minimal to reduce load times and increase speed of scheduling.
The field of clinical trials is a $2B business. But scheduling patients and resources for those trials is a bear! In too many clinical trials, scheduling eats up valuable resources that could be spent having more patients participate in the trial. Too often, there are valuable spots in trials left unused because it is challenging to manage the supply and demand. Harvard Medical School decided to change that, by building Scheduler — a tool for Harvard's several teaching hospitals to match patients to clinical trials that would help them get the hope for a cure, we were able to help clinicians schedule patients quickly and accurately.
